On Friday, February 20th, in Baltimore, Hakim Weatherspoon received an award for Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA), Modern Day Technology Leader. IT recognizes people for their achievements in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and their leadership in the workplace and community.
